Belgian pouring ritual, step by step. Over 21 days of painting, have created a stop-animation film on a 20×50 wall in SoHo. It is a pretty amazing spectacle.
In the coming weeks will be releasing a short documentary about them online and at events around the country.

NYC video artist and director Lou Auguste started documenting art on the streets of New York in 2004, and this fall he approached NohJColey to capture the young artist’s new series, “Sprayed N Stone”, a wheat-pasted trio of graff writers who have passed.

Posted on: December 10th, 2009 URBAN PROJECTIONS

555 KUBIK | facade projection | from urbanscreen on Vimeo.
Loving this projection work from the Urbanscreen group. Not exactly “Street Art” I guess, but.. hey, it’s on the street and it certainly looks arty.

555 KUBIK was the title of a facade video projection at the Kunsthalle in Hamburg (Germany), taking place last May. The idea behind it was: “How it would be, if a house was dreaming”. Daniel Rossa was responsible for the art direction and decided to use some visualisations of the inside of the building together with other animations. The facade isn’t that exciting itself, but the projection takes it to a whole new level.
